Participating in the April 9th Charity Marathon for Helping the Underp…
Hello!
On Sunday, April 9th, a total of 25 employees from Daeyeon's headquarters,
The Hyundai Seoul, and Shinsegae Centum Run Club Pacer participated in the
"10th Happy Store Marathon for Helping the Underprivileged"
held at Yeouido Hangang Park!
Members of WE:DO, a social contribution community operated by Daeyeon,
also joined in, making a total of over 50 runners in attendance!
Let's now take a look at the passionate marathon event on-site!
On Sunday morning at 8 o'clock,
Daeyeon's logos were visible throughout the event venue,
and there was a booth for Daeyeon and WE:DO set up in front of the stage!
Here, the runners of the day began to gather one by one!
The WE:DO t-shirts that were created to help everyone recognize
that they are "ONE TEAM" during the run were really beautiful!!
Participants in the 5km walk, 5km, and 10km races received bib numbers
with their names on them and prepared for the race.
They also decorated their bib numbers with provided stickers, adding to the fun of the race!
They greeted their friends from Shinsegae Centum Run Club
, who had come up from Busan, as well as their friends from The Hyundai Seoul Run Club,
and took commemorative photos too!
Additionally, the Seoul Shinjeong High School and Shinjeong Middle School track and field athletes,
who had recently won first place in the Kolon Section Marathon, came to support us!
We felt like we received the winning spirit from them,
and it seemed like everyone was able to complete the race without any injuries!!
After preparing for the race with excitement and nervousness, Kim Woo-dong,
Executive Director, and Kim Ho-hyun, Director, took the stage as sponsors of the event!
Daeyeon contributed approximately 3 million won worth of products for underprivileged children at this event,
and WE:DO also donated 1 million won from its members' participation fees!
After sharing this meaningful moment together,
we proceeded to do the most important stretching exercises just before the race!
We performed some simple stretches to release tension from head to toe before standing at the starting line.
Everyone looks so focused!
Everyone set their own goals and ran at their own pace, giving it their all!
On the return course, as they ran past their colleagues from Daeyon and WE:DO members on the opposite side, it was such a heartwarming sight!
It was a chance to see each other in a different light, showcasing their running spirit!
