Daeyeon Corporation Donates Sports Clothing to Children in Dream Start…
On January 31st, Bucheon City's Dream Start program, in collaboration with Daeyeon Corporation (led by Kim Dae-ho), held a ceremony to deliver sports clothing to 42 underprivileged children, providing a total of 3 million KRW worth of Nike sports apparel.
A representative from the Dream Start program who received the donated items expressed, "The sports shoes and clothing supported by Daeyeon Corporation are always products that children desire, bringing great joy to the recipients."
Kwon Woon-hee, the director of the City's Welfare and Hygiene Department, expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank Daeyeon Corporation for their long-standing support to Bucheon's children and families. Especially as the new school year approaches, this clothing will be a wonderful gift for the children and families in need. We will ensure that the clothing is delivered to the children who truly need it."
Daeyeon Corporation, a sports equipment distribution company operating over 70 stores nationwide, actively practices corporate social responsibility through activities such as operating a social contribution community, providing material support, and fostering sports talent. They have been collaborating with Bucheon City on various initiatives, including Nike sports shoe and clothing donations and employee volunteering. In May 2020, they entered into a "Community Welfare Enhancement Contribution Business Agreement" with the city and have since donated over 2.5 billion KRW worth of goods to local child centers and low-income children.
