DaeYeon Joins the Korean Red Cross Society
The Korean Red Cross Society announced on the 18th that it conducted a joining ceremony for (Company) DaeYeon, represented by Kim Dae-ho, and certified it as the 130th member organization of the Korean Red Cross Society's corporate and group high-value donation club. (Company) DaeYeon, which operates a significant portion of domestic Nike stores, has been engaging in various social contribution activities every year since its establishment. Additionally, its activities such as donating sports equipment for low-income children and supporting local athletes align with (Company) DaeYeon's pursuit of social responsibility.
On this occasion, (Company) DaeYeon contributed a special membership fee of 100 million KRW for the Korean Red Cross Society's humanitarian activities. Initially intended for employee welfare, the entire staff came together to decide on this donation.
Shin Hee-young, the Chairman of the Korean Red Cross Society, expressed her gratitude and said, "Just as a head of the family takes responsibility for the well-being of the family, leaders in our society bear the responsibility of caring for our nation, a larger community." She expressed hope that more companies like (Company) DaeYeon would step forward to fulfill their social responsibilities.
Kim Dae-ho, the CEO of (Company) DaeYeon, emphasized the company's commitment to social responsibility, stating, "DaeYeon aims to be a company that shares the best experiences and energy, and we will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities as a corporation." He added that the company would spare no effort in supporting various areas to share healthy energy with more neighbors and marginalized communities in the future.
