2022 1th DY Awards
Hello!
2022 has already passed and 2023 has arrived :)
Did everyone have a good year?
It seems that Daeyeon was able to spend 2022
thankfully thanks to the great efforts of Daeyeon people.
So, this year's year-end party was called 'DY Awards',
and we had an opportunity to encourage and support each other to express our hard work,
thank you, and wish you the best in the future.
It has been difficult to have a gathering for everyone due to the big barrier called COVID-19,
but it was a very nice time for the head coaches from the headquarters and stores to gather together
for the first time in two years.
The event could have been held by renting a large space,
but the company relocated this year, and to create a free atmosphere,
the event was held in an office lounge known for its pretty interior :)
From now on, the DY Awards will be introduced directly by the people in charge of hosting Parts 1 and 2!

hello! This is Soyeon Han from the Human Resources team.
Part 1 of the DY Awards was conducted by the Human Resources and General Affairs Team!
The MCs were Soyeon Han and Jinhee Seol :)
As MC for the DY Awards, which was held offline for the first time in two years, I was full of worries,
wondering “Will I be able to do well?”, but I think I was able to gain courage
with the help and support of other team members.
At first, I was calm and thought, 'You'll do well!' I was overflowing with a sense of gratitude! At some point,
I started having trouble sleeping every night...
My heart started pounding so hard that it felt like it was going to explode,
and I even experienced numbness in my arms and legs...
On the day of the long-awaited D-1 rehearsal,
We, who are usually introverted people, started hosting in front of a lot of people and trying to work together,
so our hair turned gray and we made a lot of mistakes.
There were times when I felt regret, thinking, ‘Why didn’t I try to guess better sooner?’
The long-awaited D-Day. Before the 1st DY Awards event begins,
We started Part 1 after receiving encouragement and support from many people!
Starting with an opening speech by Director Woo-dong Kim,
there was a presentation by Seong-woo Lee, head of the human resources team,
about the system that will change in 2023.
And a long-term service announcement!
We've changed the reward items with the goal of providing more meaningful products to our employees!
I felt that it would be good for long-term employees to receive the products prepared by our team
and feel proud of their long-term employment along with a sense of belonging to the company called Daeyeon.
Daeyeon's long-term service is divided into 1 year, 2 years, 4 years, 6 years, 10 years, 15 years, and 20 years.
In the future, I hope that everyone at Daeyeon will receive a reward worth 10 million won after reaching 20 years of service.
Next was the announcement of those promoted.
In 2023, 100 people were promoted to store professional, 6 people were promoted to coach,
and 3 people were promoted to head coach, for a total of 109 people in the store alone!
In 2023, a total of 11 people were promoted at the headquarters,
including 3 people promoted to assistant manager, 2 people promoted to manager,
3 people promoted to manager, 2 people promoted to director,
and 1 person promoted to managing director.
Congratulations to everyone!!
As I finished Part 1 of this DY Awards,
it didn't feel as burdensome or difficult as I thought,
and I think it was a good experience that made me think,
"I want to have a fun event like mz in a brighter atmosphere next year."

This is Manager Jun-gu Yoon of the store operation team, who is in charge of Part 2.
We planned the 1st DY Awards by changing the name from the existing OCA (Operations Contest Awards)
to the new DY Awards.
Unlike OCA, where content production could be somewhat limited,
the name change was made to allow for more diverse, more meaningful times!
We ask for your continued interest in the DY Awards.
As we conclude 2022 and welcome the grand event of 2023,
the important keyword for the event has been decided as 'JUMP'.
I also thought about what Daeyeon would need to jump in 2023,
and I thought the key was understanding the ‘GEN Z’ generation.
Among Daeyeon's employees, there are more and more people born in the 2000s.
I thought that if we could understand and respect each other's generations,
we would be able to communicate more smoothly and understand each other.
So, I created a video content called ‘Daeyeon on Wheels’
where people can have honest conversations with each other.
I was proud to hear that it was fun and that I was able to meet different ideas across generations!
And what do they think of the grand event?
Out of curiosity, we planned a content called 'DY Planet' to provide
an opportunity to get a glimpse into employees' thoughts about the company!
I think it was a time to think again about things that could be missed and to think about
'a happy company that shares healthy energy together'!
And as mentioned earlier, as the reason for the name change,
various awards were held so that more stores and
headquarters employees could also receive the honor.
Who will be the MVP of the long-awaited 2022 event?
Prior to the award ceremony, we produced a video recap of the award trip
for the 2019 and 21 MVPs and had time to watch it together.
The head coaches gave us a lot of feedback,
saying that it was a great time for ATHLETEs at each store to be motivated,
so we thought we would continue to create more motivational content in the future!
And at the 2022 MVP awards ceremony,
Incheon Moda coach Kim Eun-hye received the award.
Really congratulations!!
You have worked very hard in 2022,
and I ask you all to work hard so that Daeyeon can ‘JUMP’ in 2023.
I will run hard too!!

After the DY Awards event for Parts 1 and 2, we had a delicious beef dinner!
I think this might have been the moment I was waiting for the most!!
Since we hadn't seen each other for a while, we talked a lot over delicious meat and drinks.
It was full of a variety of topics, from work-related topics to current interests.
I knew that Daeyeon's energy was truly incredible,
but it was a very heated event as all of the headquarters stores came together to exude energy.
And I thought that since everyone only knew their names and talked to each other face to face,
we would become closer and communicate better in the future, which would have a positive impact.
I hope there will be more times like this in the future.
I thought it would be awkward, but we were full of feelings for each other under the name of Daeyeon,
and I hoped that we would make more good memories as we are colleagues walking together!
We'll be able to meet again soon, right...? Right..?
